How do I cancel a Helpr booking?

Care providers can't cancel bookings on their end.

If you're not available for a care request or need to cancel a booking you've already accepted, contact the family as soon as possible so they can cancel it in their Helpr app.

How cancellations impact payment:

  • Helpr does not pay providers for cancelled bookings
  • If a booking you've accepted isn't cancelled, payment and charges may still be processed. The family can cancel up to 24 hours after the booking ends — but let them know as soon as possible if care isn't happening so they can take care of it in time.
  • There's no cancellation fee for families, so there's no barrier to cancelling as long as it's done before care begins.
